NSAI's 'Tin Pan South' to feature more than 350 songwriters

NASHVILLE -- This year's 20th annual "Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival" (presented by Regions Bank) is scheduled for March 27-31, 2012 (Tuesday-Saturday). 

This year's festival promises to be the biggest yet with 10 venues, 90 shows and more than 350 songwriters entertaining over the five nights. Venues, songwriters, admission information can be found at http://www.TinPanSouth.com.  

Each year, "Tin Pan South" donates the proceeds from one show to a specific charity, and this year the Faith Family Medical Clinic will be the beneficiary of the show starring Pat Alger, Wayland Holyfield, Jon Vezner and Paul Williams at The Bluebird Café on Thursday, March 29 at 9 p.m. 

Country star Josh Turner will kick off "Tin Pan South" at the Hard Rock Café early show on Tuesday, March 27 at 6 p.m.  Individual club show admissions range from $8 to $20 per person and will be available at the door of each respective venue based on availability. Club admissions are subject to club capacity.  

Festival early shows begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 6:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Late shows begin at 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 9:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Attendees will be admitted 30 minutes prior to showtime. All clubs will be cleared between shows.
