Reedy's Dream Music Releases 'Maybe She Lied' Video Featuring Scott Coner and Tanya Tucker

            NASHVILLE, Tenn. (February 2016) – Reedy's Dream Music has released a new music video for the hit song "Maybe She Lied", a duet featuring country artist Scott Coner and singing legend Tanya Tucker.

            Coner says he was inspired to write the song on his Takamine guitar after a very good friend went home from work and found his wife gone with all of her belongings. Coner and Tucker later recorded an emotionally charged rendition of the song at CTM Studios in Nashville. The tune hit number one in the United Kingdom shortly after its release.

            "My friend never saw it coming, and it shocked the daylights out of him when it happened," said Coner, who has worked with other country legends such as T. Graham Brown and Charlie Daniels. "Working with Tanya, even being in the same room with Tanya, is an honor. Her voice is stronger than anything I have ever heard, and she attacked the song like a seasoned pro. She truly is a beautiful person."

            The "Maybe She Lied" music video reveals the heartache of a love affair gone wrong. Once together, now apart, the man and woman look back and yearn for what could have been. A crew from Cynnamae Media Productions shot the video on the Coner family farm in Nancy, Ky. The house and farm is where Scott's grandparents raised eight kids and the same place where he spent countless hours roaming the fields and thinking about his future. The video was directed by his wife, Cyndi Coner. She also appears with Scott in the video.

            "Everything in the video means something to me," Coner added. "The trees that I stand by are where I used to play as a kid. The porch scene is where I sat with my grandpa and grandma on many an occasion, and the hay and tobacco barns both make an appearance. Cyndi holding an umbrella is my favorite part of the song. I love the colors and beauty she brought to everything."

 

            Coner co-produced the song with sound engineer Logan Schlegal. A Floyd Cramer piano style was used throughout the song to help give it a classic country feel. Coner and Tucker worked with some of Music Row's top session musicians.

            "Of course, Tanya Tucker did an amazing job," Coner continued. "When I left the studio after the mix, I knew we had a strong track. Mark Mosely is a friend and producer here in town that helped bring Tanya to the table. I don't think I can ever thank him enough for that."

            Scott Coner has recorded songs with a who's who of country legends including Tanya Tucker, T. Graham Brown, and Charlie Daniels. Chakra Bleu's Single 'All of Me' Hits Number One on Top 40 Indie Chart

            NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 2015) –Chakra Bleu's rock/pop tune "All of Me" has hit number one on New Music Weekly's Top 40 Indie Chart, while climbing into the top 10 on the NMW mainstream Top 40 and Hot 100 singles charts.

            "All of Me" has been steadily edging up the charts with thousands of spins since its release on April 18. Bleu co-produced the recording in Nashville with legendary musician John Billings, a former bass player for the late Donna Summer. An accompanying video was produced by Ray Boone of Music City Video.

            "It's wonderful to see 'All of Me' climb into the top 10 on various singles charts," said Bleu, who is already writing and recording songs for her next album. "I'm humbled by this stellar progress, as I know I'm a small fish in a big sea. I couldn't accomplish this without the wonderful team of professionals around me."

            "All of Me" is the title track and the second single from her current album. Its number one ranking on the NMW Top 40 Indie Chart for three consecutive weeks placed it above other songs recorded by artists such as Rhianna and Brandy Moss Scott. The song ranked just below Taylor Swift at number four on the Top 40 Main Chart (for three consecutive weeks) and number seven on the Hot 100 Chart.

            The single was recorded in Nashville at Funky Tymz Studio. Chakra Bleu Releases Electronic Dance Single 'When We Dance'

            NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 2015) – Hit Americana/rock/pop artist Chakra Bleu is expanding into the electronic dance genre with "When We Dance", a new single featuring the keyboard wizardry of former Wynonna music director Harry Sharpe and engineering by former Donna Summer bassist John Billings.

            Released by Nashville-based 1746 Records, "When We Dance" is described as a "magnetic, pulsing recording that captures the timeless, passionate moment of a couple dancing closely together on the dance floor." The rhythmically entrancing recording was mixed by Billings, with keyboards by Sharpe and lead guitar by Paul Allen, a veteran musician who has toured with Big & Rich, Richard Marx and others.

            Bleu's latest release follows a string of hit singles that have climbed into the top 10 on various charts. Harry Sharpe did an excellent job adding an infectious vibe to the recording."

            Bleu, also a visual artist, said she wrote the tune while reflecting on a dancing experience with an old flame. For the cover art, she painted herself twirling hand-to-hand with the bearded man on a glowing dance floor. 

            "Dancing closely together with someone can be intensively passionate," the pop artist added. "When two people become interested in each other, it seems that the desire to dance together is natural. Becoming lost in the music, engaging closely in each other's energy, can be a euphoric feeling in and of itself. That's what I wanted to bring out with 'When We Dance', and I believe we've succeeded."

Washington Entertainment Connection Launches 'Thursday Night Rock'

            SILVER SPRING, Md. (June 2015) – The rock band Nexus will headline “Thursday Night Rock”, a new weekly concert debuting on June 4, 11, 18 and 25 (every Thursday) at the historic Fire Station 1 Restaurant and Brewing Co., 8131 Georgia Ave. in downtown Silver Spring, Md.
