'Tunesmithing' to Spotlight Six Songwriting Acts on March 18

     "Tunesmithing" will spotlight five songwriting acts from 7-9:30 p.m. March 18 (Wednesday) at WXYZ Restaurant/Bar at the Aloft Nashville Hotel, 1719 West End Ave. (near Music Row). 

     Attendees will enjoy original songs by hit country singer-songwriter M Callahan, visiting Vermont songwriter Dave Clark, the Americana/country/pop trio Drobac & Shaw, Americana/blues singer-songwriter-musician Chris "Freight Train" Floyd, hit CCM/gospel songwriter Dwight Liles, and hit country singer-songwriter Judy Rodman. Admission is free. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Publicist Chuck Whiting will emcee the show.

'Tunesmithing' to Spotlight Five Songwriting Acts in Nashville on May 20

          The monthly "Tunesmithing" songwriters showcase will spotlight five professional songwriting acts from 7:30-10 p.m. May 20 (Tuesday) at WXYZ Restaurant/Bar at Aloft Nashville West End Hotel, 1719 West End Ave. (at West End and 18th). 

          Taking the stage for the "Professional Songwriters Segment" at 7:30 p.m. will be Everette Brown (songs recorded by The Blackwood Brothers), East Side Story (a café-Bohemian band from East Nashville), Linda McRae ("Rough Edges and Ragged Hearts"/nominated for Album of the Year at 2013 Canadian Folk Music Awards), Angel Pontier (songs recorded by artists at Word, Horizon and New Haven Records), and Drobac & Shaw (country-pop songwriting trio).
