NASHVILLE,
Tenn.— (May 2013) The 15th annual "Nashville Screenwriters Conference" will occur at the Union Station Hotel in
Nashville from May 31 – June 2, 2013.
The
conference will bring Hollywood's top writers, producers, directors, actors,
managers, agents and other studio executives to Nashville to provide aspiring
screenwriters, songwriters and other individuals interested in the world of
film, TV and music the opportunity to network, learn and explore the
inner-workings of Hollywood. The event is expected to draw people from across
the United States and Canada who are looking for creative ways to achieve their
passion for writing.

The
"Music in the Movies" workshop, which will occur on Saturday at the
Country Music Hall of Fame, will be hosted by Anastasia Brown of Format
Entertainment (music for "It’s Complicated", "Footloose",
"August Rush" and "Taken"). A panel of music supervisors
will provide helpful information to songwriters, composers, artists and
publishers who are working to tap into the world of song placement in
television and film.
